Bayside Elementary follows the Voluntary State Curriculum (VSC) to teach reading.  We align Houghton Mifflin's Nation's Choice to the VSC in order to meet all students on their level. To the right you will find each theme that we cover, according to grade level.  You can also find the genres we focus during each year.
