An elementary guidance program is available to students throughout the year.
           Guidance activities are conducted in the classroom, in small groups as well as individually.

Meet Mrs. Gant

My name is Michele Gant and I am the guidance counselor at Bayside Elementary. I graduated from Towson State University in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. A few years later I started a master's program in Guidance and Counseling at Loyola College. I taught first grade for eight years in Anne Arundel County, second grade for two years in Talbot County and fourth grade for two years at Bayside. I was lucky enough to then be able to become the guidance counselor at Bayside in 2003. It has been lots of fun.

I have two daughters that keep me very busy. There is never a dull moment. Some of my favorite things are Italian food, reading, and going to the beach. I also like to spend time with my friends and family.
