All
students will be charged $5.00 (tax
included) to purchase
a student planner.
This is a very valuable device and one
which we will use at school and
encourage you to hold your student
accountable for at home.
It has been proven that those who
organize themselves properly achieve
better. The student planner (agenda) is
to be used for recording student
academic performance and upcoming due
dates for assignments as well as tests
and examinations.
Parents can also use it to
communicate with a teacher. Send a
message, request, or question in with
your child in the planner, and have your
child show this to the teacher, who can
then respond in the planner, if
requested.
As a staff we are committed to three
specific uses of The Student Agenda.

To assist in improving academic
performance;

Encourage student accountability;

To track homework completion.
We expect students to:

Carry their agenda at all times;
Record all
homework, tests and assignments;
Set an
academic goal for each course.
We request parents/guardians to:

Monitor the use of the agenda by the
student for its intended use;

Keep track of student’s performance
through the agenda so there will be
no surprises at reporting times;

Attempt to keep all community
appointments outside of school
hours.
