Meal Program

School meals will be coordinated through the Sodexo Marriott Corporation.  The cost of the meals is established by the Maryland State Department of Education.  Breakfast and lunch is available to all of our students.  Snacks are also available to students at an extra cost.  Cafeteria monitors will dismiss students to get their snacks after most of their meal is eaten.  Students will use a pin number to track their purchase.

Prepaid lunch accounts are highly recommended.  Each month a menu is sent home.  On the menu is a pre-paid lunch form.  Parents will complete the form and include check made out to Queen Anne’s County School District (QACSD) for appropriate amount.  Having a prepaid lunch account is more convenient for parents and alleviates lost lunch money and lunch charges.

Because it is important that every child has adequate nutrition, every student is required to have lunch each day.  If a child occasionally forgets their lunch money, they will borrow money from the school and will be sent home with a charge slip and envelope from the office.  This lunch fund depends upon the borrowed money being paid back as soon as possible so the fund will always be replenished.  The lunch fund is only for the cost of breakfast or lunch and we do not allow students to borrow money for snacks or additional food items.

Breakfast

Breakfast will be served daily from 9:00 to 9:15 am.  Breakfast will not be served either on delayed openings or to tardy students.
