Welcome to English! My name is Mrs. Reed, and this is my fourth year at QACHS. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education from the University of Maryland and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Wilmington University.

Expectations
Come to class on time and prepared with materials.
Listen when the teacher or another classmate is speaking.
Leave all electronic devices in lockers or book bags. iPods may be used only when completing individual work and only for music.
Do not eat any food in the classroom. Drinks are permitted in plastic containers with lids.
Complete personal tasks (bathroom, pencil sharpening, etc.) only during individual or group activities.
Work in groups effectively and efficiently.
Ask before you take, and take care of any materials you are loaned.
Begin warm-up activities immediately after entering the classroom. Journals will be located on the counter for students to pick up everyday.
Leave the classroom clean and remain in seats until the bell rings.
Express opinions diplomatically and tactfully. Do not use inappropriate language.
Believe in your abilities and work hard to achieve your goals! Your grade is a direct reflection of your effort.
