SYLLABUS/CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
- Respect for EVERYONE – Students must respect themselves, their classmates, their teacher, their surroundings, and their materials. Only one person is to speak at a time. During time of instruction, students are expected to raise their hand and be recognized by the teacher before speaking.
- Daily Preparation – Students must enter the classroom ready to learn. This includes having all their required material and assignments completed. Everyday there will be a warm-up problem that is to be done at the beginning of class. The teacher, not the bell, dismisses students.
- Following Directions – Students must consistently follow the directions of their teacher and staff. If directs are unclear, it is the students responsibility to ask for clarification.
- Responsibility – Students are expected to display maturity. As mature young adults, students are responsible for their attendance, punctuality, preparation, class participation, attitudes, behavior, and study habits. It is very important that all student stay organized in my class.
